Job Description:
Full Time 8:30 - 5:30 Day Shift Under the direction of the Director Decision Support and the CFO, provides Hospital management and other users with timely and accurate financial data after proper analysis as needed in the preparation of Financial Statements and other Financial reports (direct support to accounting for month-end close). Provides technical and application support for financial infomation systems; maintains current departmental software applications; researches, recommends and implements new financial, reporting, and document management applications. Performs other related work as required. Must have Finance and Systems experience preferrably Crystal, AR, Lawson, Meditech and ImageNow.
1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
2. Advanced knowldege of report writing and query applications (e.g. Crystal Reports, others)
3. Knowledge of automated enterprise financial systems, specifically Lawson ERP GL
4. Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet and database softwares, specifically Microsoft Windows Word, Excel, and Access
5. Proficient with SQL/ODBC and query logic.
6. Able to type accurately approximately 25 wpm, enter numbers and use a calulator with high degree of accuracy.
7. Communicate effectively orally and in writing; strong interpersonal skills.
