Job Description:
Full Time 8:30 - 5:00 Day Shift Reporting to the Senior VP & Chief Financial Officer, the Sr. Director, Financial Services oversees all fiscal activities for the Hospital and administrative activities for the Financial Services department. Provides leadership and oversight to a wide range of administrative operations, to include business and market strategy implementation, budget development, cost management, capital projects, government and commercial reimbursement, and financial analysis.
The Sr. Director, Financial Services, together with the CFO, has ultimate responsibility for overseeing the accuracy of the accounting and internal financial functions of Mercy Hospital and it's affiliates. The incumbent must ensure financial integrity of the division in all aspects of reporting and the adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Hospital accounting policies and safeguarding of assets.
The Sr. Director, Financial Services also oversees the purchasing contracts administration of the division and ensures the accurate preparation of the division and the Hospital's financial reports.
The Sr. Director, Financial Services is responsible for communicating significant accounting issues to the CFO and performing other duties as directed by the CFO
MUST HAVE A CPA AND HEALTHCARE EXPERIENCE.
