Job Description:
Full Time 830a-5p Day Shift The SIS Financial Representative III is responsible for the timely and accurate billing functions of the SIS department for Ryan White Part A and Medicaid PAC Waiver. The Financial Representative III will be responsible for claims entry, verification and check requests. The Financial Representative III will work with the Senior Financial Analyst and Finance Supervisor in assuring that departmental goals and deadlines are met by accurately processing claims data on a timely basis. This individual will understand record keeping for fiscal and clinical service delivery, will be responsible for the follow-up, billing, collections, resolution and management of the accounts payable functions interacting with Hospital, County, fiscal intermediary and contracted providers as necessary. The Financial Representative III will assure filing of corresponding claims and backup, will serve as liaison with providers to resolve issues related to payable processing and will be responsible for processing staff mileage reimbursement according to protocol.
Qualifications:
Associate Degree in Finance/Business, preferred
Experience and knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, posting, data entry, reconciliations.
Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to organize multiple tasks and complete deadlines in an autonomous manner.
Strong analytical skills.
